Job summary

Singtel Group in Singapore is looking for a skilled Data Engineer to develop data applications and enhance data pipelines. The role requires at least 5 years of development experience and expertise in Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Python. Candidates will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to design and implement efficient data solutions.

The successful applicant will also mentor junior engineers and ensure best practices are followed in data management and security.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands-on development experience.
• Knowledge in Big Data Platform such as Hadoop, mapR, Cloudera.
• Hands-on experience in Python, PysSpark, SQL, and noSQL.

Responsibilities

• Develop new and improve existing data pipeline on Big Data platform.
• Build and enhance data applications for streaming and batch datasets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders for solution design.
