Job summary

NEXWAVE TECHNOLOGIES PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a proactive Network Engineer to support and maintain our overseas WAN, corporate internet, and campus networks. The role blends BAU operations with project work, emphasizing security compliance, documentation, and rigorous change management in a banking environment.

You will handle design support, UAT/testing, patching, and incident resolution, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related STEM field.
• Hands‑on experience as a Network Engineer in a large enterprise WAN or data center environment preferred.
• Proficient in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and IPSec.

Responsibilities

• Network Operations & Support: support and maintain overseas WAN, corporate access internet, and campus designs.
• Data Center (DC) Support: assist with DC network tasks as BAU and contribute to project implementations.
• Change Management & Documentation: develop network change plans, maintain diagrams, update configurations, ensure SOP alignment.
• Testing & Validation: perform UAT and regression tests to validate network changes.
• Network Hygiene & Security Compliance: fix VA and APARs, including OS patching for routers and switches.
• Bank Grade Implementation: execute change implementation during Bank 'green zone' times following maker/checker procedures.
