Job summary

PERSOL Outsourcing at Changi Airport seeks a Baggage Operations Coordinator to implement seasonal schedules and update real-time data across baggage systems. You will generate Sitrep reports and manually refresh Baggage Information and Flight Displays.

The role requires on-site work in the baggage handling area, contributing to KPI targets. Shift work including nights and weekends is expected; a Class 3 license is a plus for baggage truck duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum Higher Nitec with any relevant education.
• Experience in an airline/airport operations environment (preferably 2 years).
• Must be on-site in the baggage handling area.
• Class 3 driving license preferred to drive the baggage truck.
• Must be able to work shift and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Implementing the seasonal schedule by updating the operational database with real-time data.
• Preparing reports such as Sitrep for internal and external stakeholders.
• Manually updating Baggage Information and Flight Information Displays.
• Troubleshooting scheduling conflicts as they arise.
• Coordinating with Engineering Baggage Control Room for real-time changes and challenges in the BHA.
• Ensuring Arrival Baggage Presentation performance and mishandling rate targets.
• Facilitating Joint Inspections with stakeholders together with Airside Support Officers or higher.
• Close coordination with baggage stakeholders for VIP flights and exception handling.
• Attend on-site incidents and carry out investigation procedures.

• Contract: 1 year (Renewable/Convertible)
• Working Location: Changi Airport
• Working Hours: 2 days’ work, 2 days off shift cycle (8:30am to 8:30pm & 8:30pm to 8:30am)Must commit both shift
• Salary: $2850

Job Responsibilities:

• Implementing the seasonal schedule by ensuring the relevant parties update the operational database with real-time data
• Preparing various reports, such as Sitrep, for internal and external stakeholders
• Manually updating Baggage Information and Flight Information Displays
• Troubleshooting multiple, often simultaneous, scheduling conflicts as they arise
• Coordinating with Engineering Baggage Control Room for any real time operational changes and challenges in the BHA
• Ensuring Arrival Baggage Presentation performance and mishandling rate are met or exceeds KPI
• Facilitate Joint Inspections with stakeholders together with Airside Support Officers or higher
• Close coordination with all baggage stakeholders for VIP flights and exception handling
• Attend to incident on-site and carry out investigation procedures
