Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte Ltd is hiring a Software Engineer, Frontend (React) to build user-facing web apps using TypeScript, React and Next.js. You will work with stakeholders to enhance usability and ensure brand consistency across products.

You will write clean code, participate in reviews, document APIs, and optimize performance for fast, accessible applications on a Monday–Friday schedule at Bras Basah Road.

Working Location: Bras Basah Road
Working Hours: 8am to 5pm/8.30am to 5.30pm/9am to 6pm/930am to 630pm (flexi)
Working Days: Monday - Friday
Salary Range: $3500 - $4000

Job Introduction

We are looking for a Software Engineer, Frontend (React) to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will build and optimise user-facing web applications using TypeScript, React and Next.js, work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to enhance the usability of our applications, and uphold high-quality design standards and brand consistency across our products.

KEY ROLE(S), RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Gathering information from stakeholders regarding functionality and features.
• Collaborating with various teams to enhance the usability of the application.
• Attending and contributing to meetings.
• Writing and maintaining code.
• Creating technical documentation.
• Build apps with/without mockups and prototypes.
• Ensuring adherence to high-quality design standards and brand consistency.
• Staying informed about emerging technologies.
• Optimizing applications for maximum speed and performance.
• Monitoring the front-end performance of the application.
• Performing thorough code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a front-end developer.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong experience and proficiency in Typescript, React and Next.js.
• Experience in integrating with third-party libraries, REST APIs, and GraphQL.
• Knowledge of back-end development is a plus.
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging.
• Experience with React Native and Expo is a plus.
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process, encompassing design, development, and deployment.
• Experience implementing authentication and authorization solutions (OAuth, JWT, etc.).
• Knowledge of SEO principles.
• Familiarity with working with design and prototype software such as Figma.
• Experience with version control, Git, and GitHub.
• Experience with CI/CD.
