Job summary

HerdHR is a Singapore-based startup building cloud-based HR software that automates and connects HR processes. We seek a PHP developer to help us build web services and applications using Laravel, integrate UI with server-side logic, and implement secure, scalable solutions.

Requirements include a Diploma in IT/CS or related field and at least 1 year of PHP experience, plus strong English communication. We value initiative, ownership, and the ability to learn quickly in a startup environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.
• MUST HAVE:
• At least one (1) year of experience in PHP.
• Experience with PHP and any JS Framework.
• Experience with debugging and fixing critical bugs under tight deadline.
• Possess strong skills in implementation and testing.
• An independent, resourceful, result-oriented, and analytical thinker.
• Ability to learn, explore, get up to speed and execute projects which may include a variety of technologies and programming languages.
• Strong oral and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build web services and web applications using primarily PHP’s Laravel
• Integrate the UI created by front-end developers with server-side logic
• Use best practices in software design to build reusable code and libraries
• Build secure, fast and scalable web applications
• Design and implementation of database schemas
