PropNex Realty Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced PHP developer to design, build, and maintain scalable enterprise web applications. You will work with Laravel, modern frontend tech, and RESTful APIs, delivering secure, high-performance software across internal and external systems.

The role requires 7+ years of enterprise PHP experience, strong Laravel skills, and familiarity with CodeIgniter. Collaboration with business users and cross-functional teams is essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 7+ years of enterprise PHP development with Laravel; CodeIgniter is a plus.
• Strong PHP, OOP, MVC, SQL, relational databases, data modeling, and RESTful APIs.

Responsabilidades

• Analyse business requirements and develop scalable, secure, high-performance web applications.
• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise apps using PHP (Laravel) and modern frontend technologies.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs with internal and external systems.
• Design and optimise SQL queries, databases, and application performance.
• Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, deployment, and production support.

Descripción del empleo

Responsibilities

1. Analyse business requirements and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications.

2. Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using PHP (Laravel) and modern frontend technologies.

3. Develop and integrate RESTful APIs with internal and external systems.

4. Design and Optimise SQL queries, databases, and application performance.

5. Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, deployment, and production support.

6. Apply software engineering best practices to build secure and reliable applications.

7. Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.

8. Collaborate with business users and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative digital solutions.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

2. Minimum 7 years of enterprise PHP application development experience, with strong expertise in Laravel. Experience with CodeIgniter will be an advantage.

3. Strong proficiency in PHP, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), MVC architecture, SQL, relational databases, data modelling, and RESTful API development.

4. Proficient in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, responsive web development, and modern frontend frameworks. Experience with React or Vue.js will be an advantage.

5. Experience with Git/Bitbucket, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile software development practices.

6. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, Apache/Nginx, AWS or other cloud platforms will be an advantage.

7. Knowledge of Redis, WebSocket, caching, message queues, application performance optimisation, and OWASP secure coding practices is preferred.

8. Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor). Experience integrating AI services or LLM APIs into enterprise applications will be an advantage.

9. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

10. Experience working within Singapore's business or regulatory environment will be an advantage.

Working Location : Toa Payoh (HDB Hub near Toa Payoh MRT Station)
5-day work week, Mondays to Fridays : 9.00am to 6.00pm
