Job summary

proppnex realty pte. ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced Senior PHP Developer to architect and implement scalable web applications using Laravel, with strong API integration and frontend skills.

You will design, optimize SQL, participate in code reviews, and contribute to AI-assisted development efforts while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver digital solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/SE or related discipline.
• 7+ years of enterprise PHP development with Laravel.
• Strong PHP, OOP, MVC, SQL, relational DBs, RESTful APIs.
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3; React or Vue.js a plus.
• Experience with Git/Bitbucket, CI/CD, and Agile practices.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, Apache/Nginx, AWS and cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of Redis, WebSocket, caching, queues, and OWASP secure coding.
• Experience with AI-assisted tools and integrating LLm APIs.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in Singapore business/regulatory environment is a plus.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications.
• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using PHP (Laravel) and modern frontend technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of enterprise PHP application development experience, with strong expertise in Laravel. Experience with CodeIgniter will be an advantage.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), MVC architecture, SQL, relational databases, data modelling, and RESTful API development.
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, responsive web development, and modern frontend frameworks. Experience with React or Vue.js will be an advantage.
• Experience with Git/Bitbucket, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile software development practices.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, Apache/Nginx, AWS or other cloud platforms will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Redis, WebSocket, caching, message queues, application performance optimisation, and OWASP secure coding practices is preferred.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor). Experience integrating AI services or LLM APIs into enterprise applications will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working within Singapore\'s business or regulatory environment will be an advantage.
