Job summary

Garena is hiring a Backend Engineer to help build and optimize common game services, including payments and account systems. You will work with software engineers, product managers and QA to deliver scalable APIs with a focus on stability and performance.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field and at least 2 years of backend experience. Proficiency in Go, Python and SQL is expected, with familiarity in Docker/Kubernetes as a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Backend Engineer in large-scale or internet systems.
• Proficient in Go, Python, SQL; knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software engineers, PMs and QA to build and improve backend services and APIs.
• Focus on stability, performance and reliability in backend systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, tested code and participate in code reviews.
