Job summary

TECH AURORA PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs. You will collaborate with frontend, product, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.

You\'ll write clean code, ensure performance, and contribute to automated tests. Experience with Java/Python/Node.js, REST, and databases is valued. Remote-friendly and flexible hours offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Backend languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
• RESTful API design and development.
• Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• OAuth/JWT authentication/authorization.
• Git version control.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend APIs.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Implement and maintain automated tests to ensure code quality.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues as needed.
