ADDISON INSTITUTE PTE. LTD. seeks a driven B2B Business Development Executive to grow our corporate training portfolio in Singapore.
You will identify, engage and develop corporate accounts for our professional and workforce development programmes, focusing on recurring revenue and long-term partnerships. You will build strong client relationships, understand client needs, and coordinate with internal teams to customise training solutions.
We are looking for a driven and relationship-focused B2B Business Development Executive to grow our corporate training business.
You will be responsible for identifying and engaging companies, understanding their workforce training needs, and developing long-term corporate accounts for our professional and workforce development programmes.
This is a sales-driven role with performance-based commission and incentives . While the focus is on building lasting corporate relationships, you will also be responsible for achieving agreed sales, revenue and account-development targets.
The objective is not simply to secure one-off training engagements, but to develop companies into recurring corporate accounts that engage us for their workforce training needs throughout the year.
Performance will be assessed through a combination of sales activity, revenue generation and account development, including:
Prospect and identify potential corporate clients across different industries in Singapore.
Reach out to HR departments, Learning & Development teams, management and business owners through calls, emails, LinkedIn, networking and referrals.
Arrange meetings and consultations with prospective corporate clients.
Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of B2B opportunities.
Understand each company's business objectives, manpower challenges and employee training requirements.
Recommend suitable training programmes based on the company's workforce and development needs.
Work with internal curriculum and training teams to propose relevant programmes or customised training solutions where required.
Assist companies in planning their annual or periodic employee training calendar.
Develop long-term relationships with corporate clients instead of focusing solely on one-off transactions.
Manage assigned corporate accounts and maintain regular engagement with key decision-makers.
Identify opportunities for repeat training, additional departments, new programmes and annual training arrangements.
Conduct periodic account reviews and follow up with clients after programme completion.
Maintain strong customer satisfaction and encourage referrals and repeat business.
Prepare quotations, proposals, programme recommendations and corporate training packages.
Present training solutions professionally to prospective clients.
Negotiate commercial terms and follow through from initial enquiry to confirmation.
Coordinate with internal operations and training teams to ensure smooth programme delivery.
Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings, proposals, follow-ups and confirmed sales in the company's CRM or sales tracking system.
Identify industries and companies with strong workforce training potential.
Develop partnerships with companies, industry associations and business communities.
Attend networking sessions, trade events, business meetings and corporate outreach activities where relevant.
Gather feedback and market intelligence on corporate training needs, competitors and emerging workforce skills.
