Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd, a technology consultancy headquartered in Singapore, seeks a Platform Architect to shape the Azure-based Digital Factory platform across sandbox, QA, UAT and production. The role focuses on architecture guardrails, automation, self-service provisioning and enterprise-scale delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in solution/platform/enterprise/cloud architecture, with Azure in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Strong Azure platform architecture experience: Landing Zones, hub-and-spoke, identity/access, multi-environment design.
• Experience designing operating models: IaC, CI/CD, self-service, reusable templates, golden paths.
• Translate business goals into architecture principles, target states and patterns.
• Security/compliance by design: policy-as-code, least-privilege, auditability.
• Experience with modern software delivery: CI/CD, release governance, developer experience.
• Data/AI patterns: governed data products, managed AI services, model integration.
• Observability and cost architecture using Azure Monitor, dashboards, and service health.
• FinOps, cost allocation, tagging, budgets, usage reporting.
• Strong stakeholder communication to senior leaders and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the Azure-based Digital Factory platform architecture including landing zones, networking, identity, policy and environments.
• Design platform operating models enabling IaC, automation, CI/CD, self-service provisioning and reusable patterns.
• Translate business needs into architecture decisions balancing speed, security, cost and compliance.
• Develop composable platform patterns for APIs, services and modular capabilities across product teams.
• Define standards and reference patterns for cloud-native apps, AI-enabled services and container workloads.
• Guide governance-enabled data/AI architecture, including data products, AI services and model controls.
• Embed observability, incident response, and operational transparency into platform architecture at scale.
• Shape FinOps and TCO practices, including tagging, budgeting and cost dashboards.
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, security, audit, finance and leadership to align architecture with business outcomes.
• Document decisions and patterns to support adoption and knowledge retention.
