Job summary

BW Group is seeking a Senior Microsoft Azure Architect / Designer to define and govern the Cloud architecture and M365 environment. You will lead architectural decisions across Azure, M365, networking, identity, and security to ensure secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions across enterprise workloads.

Responsibilities include designing end-to-end Azure and M365 architectures, aligning with the Well Architected Framework, and partnering with BW businesses to deploy secure cloud solutions

Qualifications

• 5+ years in an Azure and M365 architecture and design role.
• 8+ years total experience in infrastructure, cloud, or platform engineering.
• Proven experience designing enterprise-scale Azure environments.
• Strong expertise in Azure networking, identity, compute, storage, and PaaS services.
• Working knowledge of Azure security architecture.
• Demonstrated experience applying the Azure Well Architected Framework.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern Cloud architecture and M365 Environment for BW.
• Provide architectural leadership across Azure, M365, networking, identity, and security.
• Evaluate Azure application requests for security alignment and risk.
• Implement or manage outsource changes; vendor and partner management.
• Structure DevOps in a safe and secure manner while delivering agility.
• Use AI, Automation and IaC for solution delivery.
• Support security risk assessments at the architecture level.
• Manage support partners and governance of SLAs.
