Job summary

InnoWave is seeking a versatile Data Engineer & AI Tech Lead to work with a strategic energy client in Singapore. You will design, build, and evolve the data platform using Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric, while extending into AI engineering, API development, and process automation.

You will collaborate with client stakeholders to translate business challenges into scalable data and AI solutions, ensure security and governance, and drive delivery from data pipelines to production-ready

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms.
• Proven experience with Azure, Azure Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong Python, PySpark, and SQL skills for data processing.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration.
• Knowledge of data lakehouse architectures and data modelling.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, testing, and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication and ability to engage with client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Data Engineering & Platform Development: design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms and pipelines using Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.
• AI & Machine Learning Engineering: identify AI opportunities and develop AI-powered solutions, models, and workflows.
• Software Engineering & API Development: design and maintain APIs and backend services supporting business requirements.
• Technical Leadership & Solution Architecture: lead discussions, translate requirements into designs, and ensure scalable, secure implementations.
• Client Collaboration & Business Problem-Solving: work directly with client stakeholders and deliver measurable business value.
