CHARTERHOUSE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer in Singapore to support delivery, migration, and optimisation of enterprise cloud environments.

The role emphasizes hands-on Azure engineering, implementing cloud programs, remediation, and governance within structured enterprise settings. Responsibilities include migration planning, automation using IaC, and ongoing monitoring to enhance reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years hands-on Azure engineering experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience delivering cloud migration, remediation, or implementation initiatives.
• Strong operational knowledge of core Azure services (Compute, Storage, Networking, RBAC, Policy).
• Experience with IaC and automation tooling (Terraform/Bicep).

Responsabilidades

• Implement and support Azure cloud infrastructure based on enterprise architecture and standards.
• Execute migration and remediation initiatives with planning, testing, and cutovers.
• Configure and manage Azure compute, storage, networking, security, and governance.
• Build and maintain Azure networking, including private endpoints and ExpressRoute.
• Support identity and access management following least-privilege principles.
• Develop infrastructure automation using IaC and scripting (Terraform, PowerShell, Azure CLI).
• Monitor environments, troubleshoot, and improve cost, reliability and performance.
• Maintain thorough technical documentation throughout projects and operations.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experiencedAzure Cloud Engineerto support the delivery, migration, and optimisation of enterprise cloud environments. The successful candidate will have strong hands‑on Azure engineering experience, with proven ability to execute cloud implementations, remediation activities, and migration programs within structured enterprise environments.

This role is suited for an engineer who is comfortable working within established cloud architectures, standards, and governance frameworks while contributing directly to implementation, troubleshooting, automation, and operational improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and support Azure cloud infrastructure based on defined enterprise architecture and technical standards.

• Execute cloud migration and remediation initiatives, including planning, implementation, testing, and production cutovers.

• Configure and manage core Azure services across compute, storage, networking, security, and governance domains.

• Build and maintain Azure networking components, including connectivity, routing, security controls, and private access solutions.

• Support identity and access management implementation following security best practices and least privilege principles.

• Develop infrastructure automation using Infrastructure-as-Code tools and scripting frameworks.

• Perform cloud migration activities using Azure migration, replication, and recovery tooling.

• Monitor cloud environments, troubleshoot operational issues, and improve reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.

• Maintain accurate technical documentation throughout implementation and operational activities.

• Support scheduled after-hours migration and cutover activities when required.

Requirements

• Minimum5 years of hands‑on Azure engineering experiencewith proven delivery experience across cloud migration, implementation, or remediation initiatives.

• Demonstrated ability to execute solutions based on established cloud architecture, engineering standards, and formal change management processes.

• Strong operational experience with core Azure services, including:

  - Azure Compute

  - Storage services

  - Networking services

  - Azure Policy

  - Role‑Based Access Control (RBAC)

  - Resource governance and management

• Strong Azure networking knowledge, including:

  - Virtual Networks (VNet)

  - Subnets

  - Network Security Groups (NSG)

  - Route Tables

  - Private Endpoints

  - Private DNS

  - VPN Gateway

  - ExpressRoute

• Hands‑on experience with Azure identity and security services, including:

  - Microsoft Entra ID

  - RBAC

  - Privileged Identity Management (PIM)

  - Azure Key Vault

  - Managed Identities

• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and automation using:

  - Terraform or Bicep

  - PowerShell

  - Azure CLI

  - CI/CD pipelines

• Practical experience with Azure migration and recovery tooling, including:

  - Azure Migrate

  - Azure Site Recovery

  - Backup and replication solutions

  - Application dependency mapping

• Experience with Azure operational and monitoring tools, including:

  - Azure Monitor

  - Log Analytics

  - Alerting and monitoring frameworks

  - Cloud cost management and visibility tools

• Experience working in regulated environments with strong understanding of:

  - Least privilege access controls

  - Time‑bound privileged access

  - Secure data handling requirements

  - Enterprise governance processes

• Financial services experience is advantageous.

• Ability to work onsite in Singapore and support planned after‑hours migration and cutover activities.

• Strong discipline in technical documentation, change management, and operational procedures.

• Must be able to successfully complete required background screening and third‑party access requirements prior to engagement.

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500).

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700).
