Job summary

TALENTSIS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Technical Manager - Cloud to lead design, deployment, and operations of enterprise cloud environments across AWS and Azure in Singapore. The role emphasizes security, automation, scalability, and reliability, with ownership of Day 1 and Day 2 activities.

You will mentor engineering teams, define cloud architectures, and drive IaC, CI/CD, monitoring, and cost optimisation while ensuring compliance with enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure deployment and operations.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure in enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM).
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, security, networking, scalability, and resilience.
• Experience with Day 1 deployment and Day 2 operations, including monitoring, optimisation, and incident management.
• Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments is an advantage.
• Scripting experience with Python or similar languages is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting enterprise or government projects in Singapore is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of AWS and Azure cloud architectures aligned with enterprise security and technology standards.
• Oversee cloud deployment, migration, integration, and Day 1 / Day 2 operations .
• Evaluate and recommend cloud services, tools, and deployment approaches.
• Drive Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD, automation, and monitoring initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and lead the resolution of cloud infrastructure, deployment, and operational issues.
• Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, security, and cost optimisation.
• Develop and maintain cloud architecture and operational documentation.
• Plan and conduct disaster recovery testing and simulations for critical workloads.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams on cloud infrastructure and operations.
