AMBITION GROUP SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Data Engineer to design and implement an end-to-end AWS Data Lake and Lakehouse in Singapore.

You will define data architecture standards, build ingestion pipelines, and ensure security, governance, and cost-efficient operations.

The role requires 3–5 years in data engineering, strong SQL, Python or Scala, and hands-on AWS experience.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of data engineering, data architecture, or cloud infra experience.
• Hands-on with core AWS data services (S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, Kinesis, etc.).
• Strong SQL and programming in Python or Scala; data governance and security literacy.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect end-to-end AWS Data Lake and Lakehouse.
• Define standards, patterns, and governance across the platform.
• Build ingestion pipelines for REST APIs, JDBC, S3 uploads, and SaaS connectors.
• Design storage tiers, encryption, and lifecycle policies.
• Develop and deploy pipelines using Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, and API Gateway.
• Maintain transformation workflows (batch and stream) with Glue and Redshift.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and notification for pipeline ops.
