DBS Bank Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced Relationship Manager within Corporate Banking to expand client portfolios and lead cross-selling of banking solutions. You will develop account plans, collaborate with internal partners across geographies, and ensure timely deal execution.
The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in corporate lending, strong credit and financial modeling skills, and solid communication abilities. A bachelor's degree and proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint are expected.
Business Function Corporate Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans, and foreign exchange. Formulate, identify, and initiate account strategies to expand existing portfolios and develop new ones, building an industry franchise within the assigned segment. Complete and execute account plans for clients within identified target markets by driving business development and collaborating with internal partners across various geographies. Increase product penetration and cross-selling of banking solutions to existing clients. Ensure timely submission of RFPs, pitches, and credit memos, while also meeting deal execution timelines and supervision report deadlines. Prepare financial models with P&L, B/S, and cash-flow projections based on sound business and market assumptions. Proactively monitor and manage accounts, remaining alert to credit deterioration or improvement, and taking timely action (including escalation to senior bankers and credit teams). Conceptualize and undertake corporate finance analysis, including capital structure analysis, valuation analysis, and comparables (advantageous but not critical). Independently handle loan and security documentation and negotiations with a high degree of competence. Assist in industry-related research and strategy exercises, such as the development of new growth areas, country strategies, and industry benchmarking.
