Job summary

Singapore Exchange (SGX Group) is seeking a senior Risk Manager to join the Risk Management division in Singapore. You will oversee clearing member credit quality, margin governance, and crisis preparedness, translating macro developments into actionable risk controls.

Collaborating with product, clearing operations, legal, compliance and regulators, you will lead risk assessments, playbooks, and post-exercise reviews to strengthen the resilience of SGX's clearing ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Risk Management, or related discipline.
• At least 7 years of working experience, with at least 3 years in a relevant field such as Fund/Asset Management Risk Management and/or derivatives trading support and risk functions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the financial strength and creditworthiness of clearing members and assess exposures.
• Evaluate margin requirements under changing market conditions and support stress testing and risk controls.
• Support development and enhancement of default management framework and crisis preparedness activities.
• Prepare risk assessments and management papers for senior management and risk committees.
