Job summary

GIC Private Limited seeks an Assistant Vice President, Control Room in Singapore to gate-keep and elevate material regulatory, compliance, reputational risks to the GIC Board and senior management. Qualifications

5+ years in financial services with a Control Room function or securities regulator experience.
Strong understanding of information control and conflicts of interest.
Ability to interact with senior front office and uphold compliance positions under pressure.
Experience with multiple asset classes such as Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Commodities and FX.
Familiarity with market data platforms (Bloomberg, Reuters).

Responsibilities

Advise on internal policies and applicable laws on insider trading and market abuse.
Manage daily operations of the Control Room including insider lists and dealing restrictions.
Collaborate with Technology Group to enhance systems and controls.
Monitor regulatory developments and update policies accordingly.
Respond to regulatory inquiries and coordinate with external counsel.
Conduct policy reviews and present changes to risk committees.
Assist in Compliance Risk Assessments and related processes.
Track and report key Compliance risk metrics.
Perform ex-post monitoring and investigations of policy violations.
