Job summary

Singlife is seeking a Product Owner to translate business requirements into product roadmaps and drive digital projects using Agile methods. You will manage backlogs, write user stories, and align multiple stakeholders across the organization to deliver impactful insurance and financial solutions.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in a Product Owner capacity within financial services, with experience in JIRA, Confluence, and Figma. Based in Singapore, permanent full-time position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Owner in financial services/insurance.
• Experience rolling out enhancements on business system applications.
• Experience working with multiple business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking; able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with key business stakeholders to translate business requirements into product requirements
• Review business processes and identify optimizing solutions/features
• Deliver strategic digital projects with an Agile approach
• Manage and prioritize product backlog and roadmap based on business needs requirements
• Develop user stories, document acceptance criteria, review test plan/scenarios, and perform user acceptance testing
• Monitor deliverables and ensure timely and successful delivery of projects/initiatives
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations relating to the above functional activities

Experience

• Minimum 5 years working experience as a Product Owner in a Financial Services/Insurance industry
• Have experience rolling out enhancements on business system applications
• Have experience working with multiple business stakeholders
• Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Ability to work across departments in a fast-paced environment, self-motivated and flexible to changeHave a solution mindset, detail oriented and willingness to learn is a must

Education & Qualifications

• Academic: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business or Digital/Tech related field
• Agile knowledge or certifications
• Worked with Project Management tools (e.g. Figma/Confluence/JIRA)
