Job summary

OCBC Bank in Singapore is seeking a Legal Counsel to support the Group Markets Legal Advisory team. You will draft and negotiate Master Agreements and related documentation (ISDA, CSA, GMRA, GMSLA, TMA, MCA) and provide practical legal advice to the business across jurisdictions.

The ideal candidate is a qualified lawyer with 6 to 10 PQE, preferably in a common law jurisdiction. Experience in derivatives, repurchase and securities lending, and strong stakeholder management and communication

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with 6–10 PQE, preferably in a common law jurisdiction.
• Experience in derivatives, repurchase and securities lending is preferred.
• Ability to negotiate master agreements and advise on regulatory matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support to markets and derivatives business across OCBC head office and global branches.
• Draft and negotiate Master Agreements and related collateral documentation (ISDA, CSA, GMRA, GMSLA, TMA, MCA).
• Coordinate with business teams to resolve legal/credit/operational issues and obtain approvals.
