Job summary

Citibank (Switzerland) AG is seeking an experienced Assistant Vice President to join our Production/Application support team in Singapore. You will handle liquidity reporting and multiple financial applications, bridging business users and technical teams.

The role requires strong Unix/SQL and Big Data skills, plus knowledge of trading lifecycles and ITIL processes. You will interact with traders, quants, and operations to ensure high availability and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in application or production support with 2+ years in a lead role.
• Strong hands-on Unix/Linux scripting and SQL experience.
• Exposure to Big Data technologies: Hadoop, Hive, Spark.
• Experience with Autosys and log analysis tools.
• Knowledge of financial instruments, trade lifecycle and liquidity management.
• Familiarity with front/middle/back-office workflows and reporting.
• Experience with ITIL incident, problem and change management.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 production support for liquidity reporting and related apps.
• Monitor incidents, batch failures, data quality, and performance.
• Collaborate with traders, quants, and engineering to resolve outages.
• Manage alerts and jobs using Autosys and monitoring platforms.
• Execute advanced SQL queries for data validation and issue resolution.
• Support BI and data pipelines built on SSIS/SSRS and Big Data stacks.
• Contribute to knowledge bases, runbooks, and change-management activities.
• Lead RCA, post-incident reviews, and permanent solutions.
