Job summary

Citi is seeking an Applications Support Senior Analyst to provide technical and business support for Citi Applications. You will conduct start-of-day checks, monitor regional handovers, and ensure stability and efficiency across environments.

You will participate in releases, assess risk, and mentor junior analysts while coordinating with technology teams to resolve complex issues and maintain robust contingency plans.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in an Application Support role.
• Strong knowledge of production and incident management processes.
• Experience with Linux, Oracle SQL and scripting.
• Ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly.
• Ability to plan and organize workload and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and business support for Citi Applications to drive stability and efficiency.
• Perform start-of-day checks, monitoring, and regional handover.
• Manage and support applications and their operating environments for SLA compliance.
• Participate in releases from development to production and post-implementation reviews.
• Advise and coach junior analysts and coordinate with technology teams.
• Assess risk and escalate issues to management promptly.
• Develop and maintain support documentation and contingency plans.
