Job summary

DBS Asia Hub in Singapore seeks a Senior Platform Lead to own the PWEB platform strategy, roadmap, and delivery across the Asia Hub in Singapore. You will partner with business, architecture, security, and operations to modernize platforms.

You will drive governance, manage demand and releases, and mentor the DTI development team to achieve engineering excellence while ensuring security, scalability, and reliable services. Experience with AWS and large-scale digital platforms is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, engineering, or related field.
• Experience leading platform delivery and digital web apps.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience with AWS is highly preferred.
• Banking or large-scale platforms a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the overall PWEB platform strategy, roadmap, and delivery plans aligned with business and technology objectives.
• Partner closely with business stakeholders, product owners, architecture, security, infrastructure, and operations teams to deliver platform enhancements and modernization initiatives.
• Lead platform governance, prioritization, demand management, release planning, and risk management activities.
• Manage relationships with development teams and vendors, ensuring quality delivery and alignment with business priorities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance customer experience and support business growth.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the DTI development team, fostering engineering excellence and continuous improvement.
• Ensure platform scalability, reliability, security, and operational resilience through adherence to engineering best practices and governance standards.
• Drive platform modernization, technical debt reduction, vulnerability remediation, and continuous service improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in application delivery, digital platforms, content management systems, or customer-facing web applications, with demonstrated experience leading teams or managing platform delivery.
• Strong experience in stakeholder management, demand prioritization, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Good understanding of enterprise web platforms, application architecture, SDLC, DevSecOps, and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Ability to provide technical oversight and guide development teams across application design, implementation, and operational support.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technology outcomes.
• Experience with AWS is highly preferred.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or large-scale digital platforms will be an advantage.
