Job summary

OCBC (Singapore) seeks an experienced Platform Engineer to build, operate, and maintain our next-gen AI platforms at scale in a multi-cloud environment.

You will drive automation-first platform engineering, ensure reliability, and collaborate with architects, AI engineers, and infrastructure teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions. Strong communication and security governance knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience operating cloud-based AI platforms at scale.
• Familiarity with Gen AI use cases in production.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (compute, storage, network & IAM).
• Hands-on automation experience (Terraform, pipelines, scripting).
• Strong knowledge of containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with model serving, pipelines, inference, agentic concepts.
• Understanding of enterprise security, governance, and policy enforcement.
• Strong problem solving in dynamic environments.
• Strong communication skills to lead conversations with stakeholders.
• Expert level cloud certifications focusing on AI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build, operate and maintain the next-gen hybrid AI platforms for the enterprise.
• Envision and implement automation-first platform engineering.
• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, observability, and performance.
• Collaborate with Architects, AI Engineers, Infra and Network SMEs for solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production platform issues with ownership mindset.
