Job summary

MINDEF in Singapore is seeking a seasoned professional to manage Water Survival Training (WST) and safety operations for RSAF aircrews and personnel. You will plan, coordinate, and oversee WST activities, including scheduling, procurement, and equipment maintenance, ensuring high standards of safety and readiness.

The role requires at least 5 years in safety and training, with experience in land and water survival and risk assessment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in safety and training, preferably with land and water survival
• Ability to conduct trainings and perform learning assessments
• Experience in land and water survival training and safety management systems
• Knowledge of procurement and transaction processes
• Competent in risk assessment and audit management
• Passion for inspiring RSAF aircrews

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee key training activities
• Conduct aircrew survival classroom lessons and swimming training
• Coordinate with internal and external agencies for ejection seat training
• Manage and maintain training equipment for WST
• Coordinate with supporting units for facilities, medical support, lifeguard services, transport, and camp entry clearances
• Review and update casualty evacuation plans and training records
• Oversee safety education and safety management of Aviation Flight
• Conduct OSH internal audits
