Job summary

Qantasgroup is seeking an experienced procurement and logistics professional to secure aircraft spares for external MRO facilities and oversee TRAX-related records for compliance. The role involves fast response to AOG and routine requisitions to support heavy maintenance, while optimizing material flow and supplier performance.

Candidates should have strong communication, leadership experience, and a background in aviation materials, with proficiency in MIS/TRAX and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of procurement or logistics experience in an operational environment.
• Experience with aviation maintenance materials and supplier coordination is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Knowledge of MIS systems and Microsoft Office applications is expected.
• Experience in a high capacity passenger transport operator is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure spares are available at external AMO facilities to support Heavy Maintenance and regulatory records are entered into MIS TRAX.
• Promptly action AOG, CRITICAL and ROUTINE requisitions and transfer orders to meet business needs.
• Manage transfers and requisitions during high volume or staff absence, ensuring timeliness.
• Perform regular stocktakes and audits to ensure TRAX transactions are accurate.
• Coordinate part movements to guarantee availability for planned maintenance and defect rectification.
