Job summary

AVI-SPL is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee the technical delivery of AV Integration projects. You will review designs, finalize BOMs, drawings, and infrastructure requirements, and coordinate network needs for installation and commissioning.

You will guide cross-functional teams, resolve technical questions, and ensure alignment with project goals while supporting field teams during execution.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and deliver practical solutions.
• Effective written and verbal communication for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review preliminary design documents and validate quality, feasibility, and gaps.
• Create engineering documents with CAD Team (infrastructure drawings, floor plans, elevations).
• Generate cable pull sheets and perform heat and power calculations.
• Finalize Bill of Materials and support submittal packages.
• Provide technical updates to the Project Manager and assist with field handoffs.
• Travel to job sites to support installation teams and resolve issues during commissioning.
