Job summary

Moove Singapore AV Pte. Ltd. is hiring an AV Safety Driver to spend most shifts behind the wheel, ensuring safe, compliant operation of autonomous vehicles on Singapore roads. You will intervene when needed, maintain safety standards, and support data collection and testing under geofenced routes.

The role requires experience driving on busy roads, the ability to handle long drives, and readiness for 4–8 weeks of initial international training. A 40-hour week with fixed shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• Valid Singapore Class 3 or 3A driving license held for at least 5 years.
• Minimum 3 years of frequent, active driving on Singapore roads.
• Citizen, PR, or hold a valid work pass.
• Proficient with tablets and in-vehicle interfaces.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Willing to travel internationally for 4–8 weeks for initial training.
• Available to commit to a 40-hour week with fixed shifts.
• Must pass background check, drug screening, driving record review, and internal assessment.

Responsibilities

• Operate autonomous vehicles in both manual and autonomous modes, maintaining safety first.
• Monitor AV system performance and report anomalies to engineering teams.
• Complete predefined test routes within a geofence and meet mileage targets.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicle hardware and software.
• Execute emergency protocols during system failures or incidents.
• Manage vehicle charging/refueling as required during shifts.
• Exercise good judgement in adverse conditions and within thresholds.
• Submit daily safety logs, incident reports, and near-miss records.
