Job summary

SHEN MILSOM & WILKE (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking an AV Consultant with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in AV design and project coordination.

The role involves developing system concepts, preparing technical drawings, and coordinating with architects, M&E consultants, IT teams, and contractors to ensure design integrity and on-time delivery. You will review technical submissions, attend site meetings, and provide expert AV advice to resolve coordination issues while keeping up-to-date with

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop AV system concepts, designs, and technical solutions per project requirements.
• Prepare schematics, layouts, riser diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Prepare technical specifications, equipment schedules, BOQ/BOM, and tender documents.
• Review AV requirements and recommend equipment and technologies.
• Coordinate AV design with architects, M&E, interior designers, IT consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Review submissions, shop drawings, equipment proposals, and materials submissions.
• Attend project meetings, site inspections, and coordination meetings.
• Provide technical advice and resolve AV design or coordination issues.
• Review installation, testing, commissioning, and system performance for compliance with design and specifications.
• Review as-built drawings, test reports, operation manuals, and handover documentation.
• Keep up to date with latest AV technologies, standards, and industry practices.

Job description

Position: AV Consultant

Minimum Experience: 3 years of relevant working experience as an AV Consultant, AV Project Engineer, AV System Engineer, or similar role.

Scope of Work

• Develop AV system concepts, designs, and technical solutions based on project and client requirements.
• Prepare AV system schematics, equipment layouts, riser diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Prepare technical specifications, equipment schedules, BOQ/BOM, and tender documents.
• Review AV requirements and recommend suitable equipment, systems, and technologies.
• Coordinate AV design with architects, M&E consultants, interior designers, IT consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Review and evaluate technical submissions, shop drawings, equipment proposals, and material submissions.
• Attend project meetings, site inspections, and technical coordination meetings.
• Provide technical advice and resolve AV-related design and coordination issues.
• Review installation, testing, commissioning, and system performance to ensure compliance with design and specifications.
• Review as-built drawings, test reports, operation manuals, and handover documentation.
• Keep up to date with the latest AV technologies, standards, and industry practices.

Preferred Experience

Experience in audio systems, video conferencing, displays, LED/LCD systems, digital signage, DSP, control systems, projection, IPTV, streaming, and integrated AV systems will be an advantage. AVIXA CTS Certification will be plus.
