Autonomous Network AI Architect

Job summary

NCS seeks an AI Solution Architect (Autonomous Network) to lead the design and delivery of Agentic AI systems. You will translate network ops challenges into production-grade AI agents with safe, explainable and auditable behavior.

You will own architecture across data, reasoning, action, and logging, collaborating with NOC, OSS, and AI infrastructure teams in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in AI/ML engineering or architecture.
• At least 1 year hands-on with production Agentic AI systems.
• Experience building AI agents with external tools and production readiness.
• Strong knowledge of LLM APIs (OpenAI / Claude) or open-source LLMs on vLLM.
• Expertise in prompt engineering, evaluation design and cost management.
• Familiarity with RAG pipelines and vector stores.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture of Agentic AI systems for autonomous networks.
• Define agent scope, boundaries, tool specs, and autonomy levels.
• Design multi-agent orchestration, event routing, and shared state.
• Architect RAG pipelines including corpus design and retrieval.
• Develop prompts, schemas, guardrails, and confidence scoring.
• Produce ADRs, diagrams, and dataflow artifacts for governance.
• Collaborate with OSS platforms via REST to enable integration.
• Mentor AI/ML engineers through reviews and guidance.
