Job summary

NCS, a leading AI Tech Services company in Asia Pacific, is seeking an AI Engineer to build and deploy production agentic AI systems within the Autonomous Networks Programme. You will work closely with AI Solution Architect, Business Analyst, and Infrastructure teams to translate designs into robust code.

You will own end-to-end AI workstreams, develop RAG pipelines, and implement guardrails, observability, and safety. Proficiency in Python, LLMs, LangChain, and vector databases is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of AI/ML engineering experience, with at least 1 year in production Agentic AI systems.
• Hands-on experience building AI agents that call external tools and manage state in production.
• Experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude) or open-source LLMs on vLLM in production.
• Experience building RAG pipelines with vector databases in production.
• Strong Python—modular, production‑quality code; Git, CI/CD, Docker, and LLMOps.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of AI workstreams from requirements to production handover.
• Develop agentic applications and RAG pipelines using LangChain, LlamaIndex, and related tools.
• Implement multi-agent orchestration, caching, and shared state management.
• Ensure observability, guardrails, and safety with evaluation frameworks.
• Integrate with REST, NETCONF/YANG, SNMP, gNMI and ServiceNow REST for ITSM workflows.
