Job summary

Centre for Autonomous Mobility (CAM) is seeking a Deputy/Assistant Manager, Testing & Investigation (Autonomous Mobility) to lead development of assessment frameworks and testing protocols for autonomous vehicles in Singapore. The role combines systems engineering, testing, and regulatory insight to ensure safe deployment and compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong grasp of systems engineering (verification and validation).
• Experience in test planning and experimental design with safety focus.
• Knowledge of autonomous driving technology and implementations.
• Familiarity with regulatory processes and standards in technical domains.
• May require medical declaration and further assessment during shortlisting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine AV testing methodologies and assessment frameworks.
• Supervise AV testing activities during Deployment Readiness Assessments (DRA).
• Analyze AV platform data and provide regulatory/compliance recommendations.
• Engage with stakeholders to harmonize AV standards and practices.
• Provide technical guidance on regulations, testing methodologies and safety requirements.
