Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Asia Pacific Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a QA Automation Engineer for a 1-year fixed-term contract. You will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, and perform end-to-end testing of web applications.

The role requires 4+ years of testing experience, strong Java or scripting skills, and CI/CD integration. You will work in an Agile environment and collaborate with developers and business analysts to improve software quality.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software testing with hands-on Selenium automation.
• Strong Java or another programming/scripting language.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
• Knowledge of automation framework design including Page Object Model (POM).
• Experience with API testing (Postman or REST Assured).
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools (Jenkins).
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience in defect management with Jira.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for web applications.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Java or another relevant programming language.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute automated test suites, investigate failures, and work closely with developers to resolve defects.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Track defects and testing activities using tools such as Jira.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities and collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.
• Continuously improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall software quality.
