Job summary

Epergne Solution is seeking an Automation Tester to develop and maintain automation scripts, ensuring quality across multiple environments for web applications.

Responsibilities include defining testing requirements, creating functional test cases, and executing regression automation tests while coordinating with stakeholders and teams. A strong background in web testing and automation tools is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in computing, engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as a test engineer for web applications.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Cucumber, Selenium, Jenkins and Serenity.
• Experience with Java, Git/Bitbucket, API testing and Chrome automation.
• Familiarity with Agile software development and agile testing processes.
• Strong knowledge of QA principles and test automation methods.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality across SIT, UAT, performance and production environments.
• Create test scenarios, cases and perform Unit to system level testing.
• Troubleshoot failures across apps, frameworks, environments and data.

Epergne Solution is seeking a Automation tester , to develop and maintain automation scripts, and ensure quality across multiple environments for web applications.

Responsibilities

• Determine application or system testing requirements and specifications to ensure comprehensive coverage
• Develop and document functional test cases, results, and test data using Test Automation tools and Jira Zephyr
• Estimate, plan, prioritize, monitor progress, and coordinate testing activities to meet project timelines
• Provide daily reports on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) status to stakeholders
• Develop, maintain, and enhance test automation scripts and execute regression suite automation tests
• Analyze client business requirements and processes through document analysis, interviews, workshops, and workflow analysis to inform testing and system modifications
• Provide input for system development and modification to meet client needs by developing business specifications
• Ensure application quality across multiple environments including System Integration Testing (SIT), UAT, Performance, and Production
• Participate in creating test scenarios, test cases, and executing tests including Unit, Integration, System, Database, Regression, and defect reviews
• Troubleshoot test failures across applications, automation frameworks, environments, and test data to maintain test reliability
• Report defects clearly and promptly to facilitate resolution

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in computing, engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 2-5 years of experience as a test engineer specializing in web applications
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Cucumber, Selenium, Jenkins, and BDD frameworks such as Serenity
• Experience with Java, GIT/Bitbucket, API testing, and Chrome browser automation preferred
• Familiarity with Agile software development lifecycle and agile testing processes
• Knowledge of quality assurance principles, test automation methods, and frameworks
• Ability to independently analyze automation failures and implement script fixes
• Understanding of functional testing techniques including smoke, database, integration, white and black box, regression, system integration, and user acceptance testing
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
• Domain knowledge in banking or financial sectors preferred
• Experience executing software testing within Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
