Job summary

Search Personnel Pte Ltd is seeking an Automation Technician to support and maintain automation hardware at Henderson Road. You will handle diagnostics, deployment, calibration, and routine safety checks, ensuring reliable operation.

The role offers a permanent, full-time position with a monthly salary in the SGD range and a discretionary bonus. Training will be provided, with standard Monday–Friday hours.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Nitec/Higher Nitec in a relevant technical discipline.
• 1–2 years of experience in technical support, equipment maintenance, or automation is preferred.
• Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support for automation hardware, sensors, controllers, and mechanical components.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve hardware failures, electrical faults, and system software errors to minimize downtime.
• Assist in hardware deployment for new automation projects, including assembly, wiring, calibration, and testing before commissioning.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance routines, calibrations, and system health checks.
• Train end-users and operators on SOPs, safety checks, and basic troubleshooting; maintain logs of activities.

• Position : Automation Technician

• Location : Henderson Road

• Working hours : Monday - Friday 8.30 am to 6.00 pm

• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Monthly $3500-$4000 Basic + 14 Days Annual Leave + Discretionary Variable Bonus

Main Responsibilities:

• Technical Support & Hardware Maintenance: Provide hands-on technical support for all automation hardware, sensors, controllers, and mechanical components.

• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Identify, diagnose, and resolve hardware failures, electrical faults, and system software errors to minimize operational downtime.

• Deployment & Testing: Assist in hardware deployment for new automation projects, including assembly, wiring, system calibration, and testing before final commissioning.

• Preventive Maintenance (PM): Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance routines, component calibrations, and periodic system health checks.

• User Training & Documentation: Train end-users and operators on standard operating procedures, routine safety checks, and basic system troubleshooting. Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities and hardware issues.

Requirements:

• Education: Diploma or Nitec/Higher Nitec (ITE) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.

• Experience: 1–2 years of experience in technical support, equipment maintenance, or automation systems preferred.

• Training will be provided.
