Job summary

EA RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a capable Automation Engineer to design, program and configure PLC-based systems at our West location.

You will develop HMIs, perform system integration and ensure successful project handovers, with opportunities to grow in a welfare-rich environment. Candidates with 2–3 years in automation and skills in C++/Python are encouraged to apply. Working hours are 8:30am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday, with basic salary in a competitive range and strong

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or related field.
• 2–3 years of automation/control experience; diploma holders with 3–5 years may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop, program and configure PLC-based automation and control systems.
• Develop and configure HMI/GUI, control systems and databases per project.
• Perform system integration with PLCs, I/O, instrumentation and protocols.
• Prepare schematics, wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
• Conduct FAT, testing, commissioning and project handover.
• Diagnose and resolve software, hardware and communication issues.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors and project teams for delivery.
• Provide technical support and training to customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, program and configurePLC-based automation and industrial control systems.

• Develop and configureHMI/GUI, control system applications and system databasesaccording to project requirements.

• Perform system integration involvingPLCs, I/O systems, field instrumentation and industrial communication protocols.

• Prepare control schematics, wiring diagrams, control narratives and technical documentation.

• ConductFAT, system testing, site commissioning, troubleshooting and project handover.

• Diagnose and resolve control software, hardware, instrumentation and communication issues.

• Coordinate with customers, vendors and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.

• Provide technical support and system training to customers when required.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics or related Engineeringdiscipline, preferably with 2-3 years of relevant industrial automation/control system experience.Diploma holders with 3-5 years of relevant experience may also be considered.

• Hands-on experience inPLC programming, system integration, I/O systems, control instrumentation, testing, commissioning and troubleshootingis preferred. Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and exposure toHMI/GUI/SCADAwill be advantageous.

• Knowledge ofC++ and/or Pythonis an added advantage. Candidates with strong internship, academic or project experience in PLC programming and automation are also welcome to apply.
