Job summary

OneByZero is seeking a QA Engineer to own automated testing across our Neo platform, shaping test strategy and release quality. This is an automation-first, hands-on role where you will write code daily and influence how we ship.

You will design and maintain deterministic automated tests across API/integration, end-to-end UI, regression, and load testing, build scalable API test suites with Jest/TypeScript, Playwright, and work within CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in automated QA, ideally in SDET or QA ownership role.
• Hands-on coding in TypeScript and/or Python; test estate is code-driven and CI-gated.
• Deep API/integration testing of microservices using code-based frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Own QA end-to-end for key product areas; define test strategy and automation.
• Design and maintain deterministic automated tests across API/integration, UI, regression, and load.
• Build and scale API integration test suites against live microservices.
• Convert manual tests into automated regression coverage and keep CI green.
• Run load and performance tests (k6) and report on SLOs.
