Job summary

Merit Medical Singapore Pte. Ltd. provides technical support to production to ensure the manufacturing plan is met while complying with local laws and company policies. The role covers maintenance, troubleshooting, and driving improvements on the production floor.

The successful candidate will have a diploma/engineering qualification and 3+ years in manufacturing with cGMP exposure, plus experience in automation and teamwork to solve technical issues on the shop floor.

Qualifications

3+ years in manufacturing/engineering; at least 1 year in a cGMP environment.
Process knowledge in assembly and equipment maintenance.
Team player with strong troubleshooting of equipment failures.
Automation background with programming knowledge is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to production to meet manufacturing plan and ensure compliance with local laws and company policies.
Maintain and troubleshoot to ensure smooth operations on the production floor.
Assist in machine and equipment improvements and upgrading programs.
Support continuous improvement in assembly processes, equipment efficiency, capacity, yield, quality, safety and 5S.
Participate in Lean initiatives and attend relevant meetings for continuous improvement.
Communicate with affiliated plants, suppliers, subcontractors and government agencies as required.
