Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an Accountant on a 1-year contract to support monthly, quarterly and year-end closes. The role offers up to SGD 4,700 per month and a 1-month completion bonus. Working hours are Monday to Friday in office hours.

You will drive process improvement and automation in finance, review reconciliations, analyse performance and assist tax filings, while liaising with auditors.

Responsibilities

• Support accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end closing
• Review Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items
• Analyse financial performance and prepare variance analysis
• Prepare GST returns, withholding tax returns and related tax documentation
• Support year-end tax filing
• Review and improve finance processes, controls and workflows
• Participate in automation, digitalisation and process improvement projects
• Liaise with banks on treasury and banking matters
• Coordinate quarterly/year-end stock takes and fixed asset sighting
• Liaise with internal and external auditors and follow up on audit recommendations
• Provide accounting and financial support to business units
• Lead and support ad-hoc finance projects, business analysis and initiatives
