Job summary

EA Recruitment Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an accounting professional for a 1-year contract to support daily accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, GST returns, and month-end closing. The role, based in Buona Vista, runs Monday to Friday, 9:00 am–5:45 pm, with basic salary SGD 3,000–3,500 plus completion bonus and excellent welfare and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy or Finance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inventory stock take and ensure proper documentation
• Assist in the preparation and submission of quarterly GST returns
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies
• Liaise with external auditors and provide necessary documentation during audits
• Maintain supplier and customer master data records
• Support daily accounting operations, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Prepare telegraphic transfer (TT) remittances via GCMS banking system
• Handle invoicing and Letter of Credit (LC) checking
• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations (GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Inventory, etc.)
• Assist in cash flow monitoring and preparation of cash flow projections
• Support month-end closing activities
• Reconcile monetary accounts
• Prepare and submit data for government agency surveys (e.g., Singstat, EDB)
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
