Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking an engineering specialist to design equipment, tools and fixtures for manufacturing improvements at the Changi Singapore Plant. You will develop experiments, validate processes and prepare technical reports, while guiding software coding and automation projects.

The role involves cross-functional collaboration to mitigate manufacturing risks and support Industry 4.0/5.0, robotics and AI initiatives, with a 12-month renewable contract onsite in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Min. degree in Engineering, Science or equivalent.
• Min. 3 years of relevant experience.
• Programming experience required.
• Industry 4.0 / 5.0 experience preferred.
• Experience with robotics foundation models, VLM, VLA or LLM industrial applications advantageous
• Knowledge of GMP / Good Documentation Practices in a medical device environment preferred
• CAD and MS Project experience advantageous
• FDA medical device regulatory knowledge advantageous

Responsibilities

• Design equipment, tools and fixtures to improve manufacturing processes.
• Develop and execute experiments, testing and validation protocols.
• Analyse validation results and prepare technical reports and recommendations.
• Develop work instructions, training materials and manufacturing documentation.
• Provide technical guidance on software coding and development.
• Support automation and process technology projects.
• Gather validation data and support deployment of manufacturing technologies.
• Troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing risks and issues.
• Support Industry 4.0 / 5.0, robotics, AI and digitalisation initiatives
