Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is hiring for a Manufacturing Engineering - Automation/Software role at our Changi onsite facility. The position supports automation projects, tooling design and digitalisation efforts to enhance manufacturing processes.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fields, with knowledge of Python and Power BI, and familiarity with C# or C. Exposure to AI or Industry 4.0 technologies is a plus. 12-month renewable contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer engineering, mechatronics, automation or related field.
• Experience in manufacturing automation, digitalisation or software development is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Python, Power BI or other programming languages.
• Knowledge of C# or C programming would be an advantage.
• Understanding of automated equipment, robotics, Industry 4.0 or smart manufacturing projects is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing automation, digitalisation and process improvement projects.
• Design and improve manufacturing equipment, tools, fixtures and production processes.
• Develop software solutions and provide technical support for coding and automation projects.
• Assist in gathering validation data, conducting engineering tests and preparing technical reports.
• Apply programming tools such as Python, Power BI and other languages to improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Support troubleshooting of automated equipment and implementation of new technologies.
• Prepare technical documentation, work instructions and training materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing issues and improve operational performance.
• Explore AI, robotics and Industry 4.0 technologies for manufacturing applications.
