Job summary

WGT EHR PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled service technician to perform on-site installation, commissioning, maintenance and training of manufacturing automation equipment at customer sites in Singapore.

You will analyze equipment failures, prepare service reports, support FAT preparation, monitor tickets, and explore upgrade opportunities while traveling overseas on short notice.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 1–3 years of experience operating automated equipment.
• Experience with servo motors and robotics.
• Ability to install software and configure PCs and machines.
• Ability to read mechanical, pneumatic and electrical drawings.
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies regularly.
• Willingness to travel overseas on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site installation, commissioning, decommissioning, repair, training, and preventive maintenance of manufacturing automation equipment.

• Prepare and present accurate, detailed service reports promptly.

• Conduct on-site installation, commissioning, decommissioning, repair, training, and preventive maintenance of manufacturing automation equipment.
• Analyze equipment failures and identify root causes to effectively repair equipment failures.
• Assist in Factory Acceptance Test preparation and prepare for installation work.
• Monitor all open service tickets and promptly resolve equipment issues.
• Respond to phone support and onsite support requests.
• Promote additional value-added services, spare parts, upgrades, and other relevant offerings when visiting customer sites or as opportunities arise.
• Prepare and present accurate, detailed service reports in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.
• 1-3 years of experience in operating automated equipment.
• Proficiency in electrical components such as servo motors and robots.
• Proficiency in installing software and setting up PCs and machines.
• Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings, pneumatic drawings, and electrical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills, both analytical and technical.
• Willingness to learn new technologies on a regular basis.
• Willingness to travel for overseas assignments on short notice.
