As anAutomation Equipment Technician, you will play a critical role in sustaining and improving advanced automation equipment within the manufacturing environment. This position requires strong technical skills in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and equipment optimization, while collaborating closely with Shift Operations, Equipment Engineers, and tool vendors. You will ensure equipment reliability, drive continuous improvement, and support automation initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Repair andmaintainautomation equipment such as AMHS (Automated Material Handling System), ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System), and AGV (Automated Guided Vehicles).
Performelectrical and mechanical troubleshootingto diagnose and resolve issues in electro-mechanical equipment.
Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment based on layout plans, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Execute preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration activities tomaintainequipment within specifications.
Implement equipment modifications as directed by engineering teams.
Monitor tool performance and ensure compliance with shift KPIs for uptime and quality.
Prepare detailed shift reports and conduct effectivepassdowns.
Executecontinuous Improvement Projects (CIP) to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
Analyze equipment data to recommend advanced troubleshooting and predictive maintenance actions.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment through proper housekeeping practices.
Collaborate with operations and engineering stakeholders to resolve production line issues promptly.
Support automation integration projects andassistin deployingnew technologies.
Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for recurring issues.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and EHS protocols during all maintenance activities.
Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, or related automation disciplines.
Handson and safety-first mindset.
Proficiencyin basic PC/software tools for equipmentmonitoringand reporting.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
Good communicationand teamwork skills to collaborate across functions.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, shift-based environment.
Able to work on 12 hours rotating shift, including night shift.
