Job summary

SEARCHASIA CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced maintenance engineer to perform and optimise preventive maintenance on complex manufacturing equipment, spanning mechanical, electrical, optical, fluidics, PLC, and automation systems.

You will diagnose failures, implement repairs, and support production teams to minimise downtime and hit daily targets. You will lead equipment improvement initiatives, identify automation opportunities, and mentor Technicians and junior Engineers to

Qualifications

• Must hold a Degree in Engineering.
• Experience in designing automatic control systems.
• Experience in troubleshooting PLC and HMI process control automation systems.
• Rotating shift schedule: 12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform and optimise preventive and preventive maintenance on complex manufacturing equipment covering mechanical, electrical, optical, fluidics, PLC, and automation systems to maximise equipment uptime.
• Diagnose equipment failures, implement effective repairs, and provide technical support to production teams to minimise downtime and achieve daily production targets.
• Lead equipment improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for automation to enhance productivity, product quality, cycle time, equipment performance, and operating costs.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to Technicians and junior Engineers, developing their capabilities in equipment maintenance, PLC, automation, and troubleshooting.
• Prioritise maintenance activities based on production requirements, equipment conditions, and material availability to achieve operational KPIs and manufacturing objectives.

Requirements:
