Job summary

Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center In Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a capable engineer to optimize production equipment and troubleshoot complex issues. You will drive continuous improvement to meet targets, improve quality, and enhance efficiency.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement PLC programs, manage SQL databases, and develop Power BI dashboards to monitor OEE and operations. This role requires strong automation expertise and a data-driven mindset.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related engineering field.
Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting skills.
Strong SEQ (Sequence Control) logic development and debugging skills.
Strong knowledge of SQL databases (SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle).
Proficiency in Power BI and data visualization tools.
Experience with SCADA, HMI, and industrial automation systems.
Strong RCA, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Experience in Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
Ability to support rapid production issue response.

Responsibilities

Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of production equipment and automation systems to ensure uptime.
Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs and sequence control logic to support manufacturing needs.
Monitor equipment performance and implement corrective actions to improve OEE.
Support installation, commissioning, qualification, and process validation activities.
Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
Analyze malfunctions, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Use automation systems (PLC, SCADA, sensors, servo drives) for monitoring and control.
Manage manufacturing databases to ensure data integrity and reporting.
Develop SQL queries, reports, dashboards for equipment monitoring and analysis.
Utilize Power BI and other tools to visualize performance and trends.
Collaborate with Production, Process, and Quality teams to optimize machine performance and material flow.
Apply Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S to improve processes.
Provide rapid response to breakdowns during production.
Maintain technical documentation and schematics.
Handle ad hoc technical assignments and improvement projects.
