Job summary
Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center In Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a maintenance engineer to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on our smart factory equipment. You will patrol, identify abnormalities, and coordinate with engineers and contractors to plan and execute tasks.
The role requires hands-on experience with electrical systems and pneumatics, knowledge of Siemens/Allen-Bradley systems, and a valid driver’s license. Flexibility for rotating shifts and overtime is expected.
Qualifications
- Nitec or higher in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or a closely related field.
- 2-10 years of machine maintenance in automated manufacturing preferred.
- Experience with Siemens, Schneider Electric, IFM, SICK, and Omron.
- Experience with Siemens and Allen-Bradley automation equipment.
- Experience with pneumatic systems from SMC and FESTO.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, pneumatics and automation.
- Driver’s license and relevant equipment certifications preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EPLAN.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and patrols.
- Plan maintenance tasks with engineers and contractors.
- Supervise contractors during preventive maintenance.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns, emergencies, and fires.
- Execute planned maintenance to meet downtime targets.
- Prepare reports and handovers to next shift.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement projects.
