Job summary

ASE SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled engineer to design, develop, deploy, and maintain Equipment Automation Programs (EAP) for our manufacturing equipment, while ensuring seamless integration using SECS/GEM standards and real-time parameter management.

The role covers factory integration, 24/7 production support, and ongoing system enhancements to boost productivity, OEE, and data-driven insights across OSAT and high-volume manufacturing environments in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–8 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, factory automation, or industrial automation.
• Experience in OSAT, wafer fabrication, electronics manufacturing, or high‑volume manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills; knowledge of Secs/Gem, Semi E84; programming in C# and Python.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain Equipment Automation Programs (EAP) for manufacturing equipment.
• Implement equipment integration using SECS/GEM and manage process parameters.
• Integrate new production equipment and validate automation requirements with vendors.
• Provide 24/7 production support and perform root-cause analysis for automation issues.
• Develop automation features to improve productivity and OEE; enable real-time monitoring.
