Job summary

Personnel Link JobHub Pte. Ltd. seeks an Automation Engineer in Singapore.

You will lead technicians, provide technical guidance, and oversee the operation, troubleshooting, maintenance and optimization of automated assembly lines. You will manage automation projects from design through installation and qualification, develop SOPs, support production, and assist with layout improvements using SolidWorks or similar CAD tools.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering is required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide technical guidance to technicians in the operation, troubleshooting, maintenance and optimisation of automated assembly lines and equipment.
• Lead and manage automation projects, including equipment design, development, procurement, installation, commissioning and qualification.
• Develop and implement automation solutions to improve medical device assembly processes, production workflow, plant layout, productivity and manufacturing efficiency.
• Provide technical support to production operations and establish standard operating procedures, equipment maintenance procedures and troubleshooting guidelines.
• Design and modify equipment layouts, mechanical components, jigs, fixtures and assembly tooling using SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software.
